Art Exhibition in celebration of indigenous wonders

24 August 2024 – 9h00 to 12h00

Come relish in natural and cultural wealth of our region portrayed through our Hessequa teens creativity.

All Inheems 2024 teen art competition entries will be exhibited for the duration this event and an awards ceremony will be held at Friday 23 August at 18:00 where 25 prizes will be handed over by a prominent community leader.

GCBR has curated a selection of nature-inspired artworks created by local Hessequa artists; these will also be exhibited and available for purchase over this two day event. Kindly note that the sale of these artworks will contribute to environmental conservation and the development of art in our region.

There will be interesting stalls where you can purchase food, drinks, indigenous plants, pottery, apparel and more.

On Saturday 24 August there will be a botanical gelli plate printing workshop where participants will create their own bespoke giftbags.
