14th of March − At the Gouritz Cluster Biosphere Reserve, we are committed to protecting and restoring our rivers and wetlands for future generations. In honour of International Action for Rivers, we recognise the dedication of our contracting and restoration teams in invasive plant clearing and river monitoring. These actions help restore river systems, enhance biodiversity, and ensure clean, flowing water for both people and wildlife.

Explore Your River’s Journey!

How You Can Help Protect Rivers:

✅ Avoid dumping waste, chemicals, or oils into storm drains.

✅ Properly dispose of waste and recycle to prevent litter from entering waterways.

✅ Reduce water use and minimise runoff pollution.

✅ Get involved in local clean-up and restoration projects.

Here’s a glimpse into our work, as we continue to make a lasting impact on the Goukou River and beyond. Our team in action, clearing invasive plants and conducting river monitoring to keep our rivers healthy!
